Moving in..

So today was Move-In Day. I would have to say it was pretty successful.

I woke up at 8 AM. I quickly decided that, that was way too early. I stayed in bed until 10:30 and showered. Then my mom, dad and I went out to eat. We went to Antonella's, an authentic italian restaurant. It was not that great. I ordered the Gnocchi Marinara. And I would have to say, I didn't enjoy it too much. After lunch, we headed to The Culinary Institute of America, which was only a few miles from Antonella's and our hotel. We arrived to the CIA around 12:30 PM. And I checked-in, like any ordinary college student would and then, you know, "Moved-In." Typical college dorm. One room. One roommate. Communal bathrooms. You know, the good stuff. And before you ask, the CIA is located in Hyde Park, New York, NOT New York City. Here is a map of NY and where the CIA is located:
Point "A" is The Culinary Institute of America. Not too far from NYC.

And now back to my dorm room. Again nothing special.. I'll let you have a look at my room. You ready for this? Here we go.

My first picture in my dorm room.

My desk and bed in the background.

My bed.

All my storage space! I love that I have a lot of space.
My desk in all it's glory.

My books I received today!

So I moved in and now it is time for some student meetings. You know the same, old meetings about dorm life and your residences. Nothing special. I'm excited for tomorrow's orientation. Even if it is SUPER early.. Breakfast, which is not mandatory but is suggested, is at 6:45 AM.. So we will see if I am up and able to go to breakfast..

I think that is all for tonight. Stay tuned for more updates.

And so my journey continues tomorrow, with my first day of orientation!
